IMAX – The Walk

Team 3D was pleased for the opportunity to create some mind bending art right in our own backyard of beautiful LA, this time for Sony IMAX’s release of ‘The Walk’ in 3D. If you don’t know the story, the film is about legendary Philippe Petit, the audacious tight rope walker who dared to take on the Twin Towers in New York in 1974. My team and I were tasked with creating an equally convincing street painting for the film’s premiere, held at the IMAX Headquarters in Playa Vista. The results? Simply death defying!
