Home and Family TV – Season 3

Giant Panda Ball Game, 10′ x 30′

Universal Studios – Los Angeles, California

TV appearances are a lot of fun for me, especially when invited to join the always enjoyable Home and Family team on the Hallmark Channel. The show is now in it’s third season, which says a lot for their successful content and production. It all comes together with hosts Christina Ferrare and Mark Steines, who bring warmth, fun and engagement to the entire show – it just doesn’t get any better than this.

My first appearance on the show was back in 2013 for their premiere season, which  debuted a Hollywood themed street painting I created. I also provided a ‘how to’ lesson for Christina and Mark, to get their hands dirty in my world of chalk. Chalk drawings being popular with their audience, so when the producers asked me back for a second appearance, it really was a no-brainer for me.

This appearance centered on a giant panda playing with a large transparent ball – these bears love playing with toys! Guess where the hosts would stand? You got it – in the ball, kind of trapped in the bubble. Always one for looking at fun and innovative ways to include interaction, this painting was enjoyed by the entire guest family at the end of the show.

Thanks to H & F TV for the opportunity to have some fun with their always awesome team. Special thanks to Team 3D artist, Julio Jimenez, for assisting in getting this 10’x 30′ painting done in a mere 4.5 hours. We hustled but enjoyed every minute!
