My team and I had a blast creating this easy interactive piece for the 2015 Orange County Marathon in Newport Beach, California. I had created the first of these ‘vertigo pieces’ at Dubai Canvas in February, which proved to be a huge hit with the public, so we decided to try out a cliff for customer US Bank’s Edge card.
Participants to the event were invited to interact with the art via a free photo booth set up for the event. Created on easy to move booth panel and matte flooring, this wall / floor combo installation was unveiled indoors for the Friday and Saturday expo, and was then relocated to near the finish line of the race on Sunday.
Thousands of attendees stopped for complimentary photos and a chance to scale the cliff with a little help from Edge. A big success for US Bank all the way around!
