One of my latest 3D Chalk Art installations was unveiled in ever-fabulous Las Vegas at the 2014 Kitchen Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for repeat client Wilsonart. I had created a similar multi-surface installation for them at last year’s KBIS, which proved to be a big hit at the show. This year Wilsonart wanted to continue showcasing 3d chalk painting with a new design centered around a futuristic city theme.
I love creating these multi-surface interactive installations, especially when I can add built props as part of the illusion. The buildings that rise up off of the ground plane actually showcase the new surface product that Wilsonart was highlighting at the show this year. A nice way to integrate real product with illusionist art work. The installation proved to be a big success and I had a lot of fun creating this one.
These types of 3D installations really do guarantee a lot of attention at trade shows, marketing events and product launches. If you are interested in learning more about partnering with me for your next corporate event, please drop me a line on the home page contact form!
