Meticulously created using documents from Da Vinci and other contemporaries who recorded this masterpiece in its prime, Tracy has created a piece that combines luminous color, exquisite detail and incredible expression to celebrate the launch of Sony Entertainment’s DVD ‘The Da Vinci Code.’ On hand for the festivities were Ivanka Trump, Da Vinci Code screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, actor Jurgen Prochnow and Fritz Friedman of Sony Entertainment.
This spectacular street painting was created with chalk pastel and measures 34′ x 17′ 6″. It was unveiled at Trump Tower in New York. This painting won Tracy a Guinness World Record for The Largest Chalk Painting by an Individual in 2006. Special thanks to Stuart Claxton of Guiness World Records, Anthony Cappetto and Wendy Stum.
Bravo Tracy!

Spectacular! Can you tell me how many day or hours of actually creating the image it took?
Yes, Craig – this image required about 4 weeks to create from start to finish; 6 days each week at 7 or 8 hours per day. Thanks for the kind comment!
Hi Tracy! I am still in awe by this piece! What was the surface you worked on?
Thanks Alice – it was an artificial surface I created specifically for the painting using wood panels.
These are spectacular! Thanks for sharing!
I HAVE FORWARDED ALL OF YOUR PAINTINGS I HAVE FOUND TO ALL MY CONTACTS EQUALING 268. YOUR WORKS AMAZE ME AND THE FACT THEY ARE ONLY IN CHALK IS A CRIME. IF YOU CAN DO THE SAME WITH REAL HARD PAINTS AND THEN COVER WITH A CLEAR COAT TO PRESERVE THEM, IT WOULD BE A LEGACY FOR YOU ALWAYS.I AT FIRST THOUGHT THE PAINTINGS WERE BY A MAN BUT PLEASED YOU ARE A WOMAN WITH TALENT BEYOND BELIEF. YOU ARE TRULY THE ONE OF THE GREATEST ARTISTS OF OUR DAY.I SINCERELY WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH YOU BUT I UNDERSTAND YOUR TIME IS LIMITED.
THANKS, RANDY / COLORADO SPRINGS, CO.
This painting is amazing! I didn’t know it was created since 2006 until I randomly decided to look at some of Tracy’s works.
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet her at the TEDx event held in CCA on November of 2011. Remember me, Tracy?
Hi Adelyn,

Hey Tracy!! love your work! you have a truly natural gift! I have a question, uhm I work for this design magazine in my country (Mexico) and I made an article about your work and the roots of chalk art.
I was wondering if you could give us permission to print the first image that you added on this post, the one with the complete view of The Last Supper, of course we will give you credits for this.
Thank you! our magazine’s site is this one> http://stilo.com.mx/
