3d Chalk Art / 3d Street Painting made it’s Hollywood style debut on the Hallmark Channel’s new Emmy nominated morning show ‘ Home & Family’ this past week. I was invited down to the Universal Studios lot to tape a segment for the May 6 program, which showcased a street painting I created specifically for the broadcast.
My image portrayed Hollywood legend, Rita Hayworth, lounging by a pool in classic Hollywood pin-up style – black and white against a bright blue pool. The work was completed in a short 9 hours (in 100+ temperatures!) and certainly was a hit with the crew of the show.
Hosts Mark & Christina were delightful and fun – they know how to have a good time on and off camera. Best part of the experience was meeting the entire staff at H & F, who really went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. Thank you Jessica and team!
The good news is that apparently my segment was such a hit that they’ve asked me back for another episode! I really enjoy being in front of the camera now (not so when I was younger) as I love telling people about 3D street painting. That being said, the next segment will be a hands on with Mark & Christina getting down and dirty on the pavement too. Not to be missed – details of airing times posting soon!
