Throwback to my pavement work. This one was in Venice, California with Team 3D!

I’m not doing much actual pavement work like this any longer as the physicality of the work is hard on my body. (My amazing chiropractor & a consistent yoga practice kept me functioning for the last 15 years of my career!)

My studio still creates ephemeral custom works for walls and some floors. The good news is that the permanent pieces can be seen at @tiltatracyleestummuseum & @tiltpv! I’m proud of my offering to fans and supporters of 3D, and do hope you enjoy the experience!

CruisIng through the Philadelphia Airport, Sayak and I came across our good friend Mikel Elam’s fantastic mural installation. Mikel is a self taught artist who delves into his conscious and subconscious concerns by using Afro-futurism visual language.
We were impressed with the work and so happy that he has been featured in this very public space.

My teaching artist project has come to an end & I am sad to say that! This experience just melted my heart and brought a couple hundred beautiful young souls into my sphere on a weekly basis. 😇

Teaching art to children has got to be one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my career. It’s a two way street - what you give comes back to you 100 fold. These kids reminded me to value being spontaneous, free and uninhibited in my art practice. A liberation of sorts.

I hope I can get back to this in the future to inspire the next wave of youth❣️
