3D Chalk Art Used to Recognize Olympic Hall of Fame Inductees
I recently worked an interesting PR event using 3D chalk art for the announcement and inauguration of the 2009 Olympic Hall of Fame inductees. Held at Millenium Park in downtown Chicago, I was commissioned by Allstate Insurance, who sponsors the OHF, to create a large 3D style mural that would be unveiled at the press event, depicting all of the athletes to be inducted this year.
Sized at 20′ x 12′ , the mural included images of former Olympians Picabo Street, Theresa Edwards, Michael Johnson, Sarah Will, Andrea Mead Lawrence, Mary Meagher, Willye White & Clyde Drexler. Most of these athletes attended and autographed the mural on their images.
